Frequently Asked Questions

A Couples Cruise is a truly unique experience, and certainly not the usual “vanilla” cruise. You likely have questions, and we have answers! If your question isn’t answered below, feel free to reach out to us at

Most of our cruises are full ship charters where we have every single cabin. Occasionally, we have specialty cruises to exotic locations, where we takeover a deck or an entire section of the ship.

Our cruises are intended for couples. Of course, we get lots of requests from singles that want to come on our cruises and we have allowed some, from time to time, on a case-by-case basis. That’s why we came up with the Plus 1 Club. The Plus 1 Club is an exclusive membership club for singles that want to cruise on a Couples Cruise but don’t have a partner. They could be a single gentleman or a lady, or someone that has a partner but they cannot travel together for one of our cruises.

Learn more about singles on a Couples Cruise.

No and yes. There are “swingers” and non-swingers on board; as well as, nudists and non-nudists, republicans and democrats, Baptists and atheists, and many other types of people. The simple truth is we cater to all of these and many more. We support a diverse base of open-minded couples looking for clothing optional, adults only cruise.

You don’t have to be a swinger or a nudist to enjoy our cruises. If you love Mardi Gras, Fantasy Fest, or just enjoy living life to its sexiest and fullest, then a Couples Cruise is right for you!

First of all, let’s define the word “swinger”. Swingers are people in relationships that are non-monogamous. Many singles are non-monogamous and no one thinks anything about that. But many people expect couples (especially married ones) to be monogamous.

The simple truth is that most people just aren’t wired that way. Plain and simple, people are attracted to other people. That is why there is such a high divorce rate (around 50%). One of the top reasons for this is infidelity. Not being able to have more than one sexual partner has created millions of divorces in this country.

Swingers have found their solution for this: non-monogamy or the practice of couples having more than one sexual partner.

On a Couples Cruise, open-minded couples will be on board looking to meet other couples like themselves. Hoping to start new friendships, re-establish old bonds, and make new friends

In this context, it is a shortened version of “the swinging lifestyle”. Many people don’t like the words “swing” or “swinger”, so they have shortened the phrase to “the lifestyle”. This is in an effort to separate their play choices from other words that might invoke negative stereotypes.

Another no and yes. First of all, our ship will have a clothing optional pool deck. Our cruise is different from most “nude cruises” because we are open about the fact that this is marketed to couples that are in the “swing lifestyle”.

Of course not. You can participate as much or as little as you like. While there will certainly be a lot of couples that do decide to go nude on our pool deck, there will be plenty others that only go topless, some that will be wearing g-string bikinis and yet others that will be fully dressed. This is “Your Cruise”, so you get to decide what your comfort level is.

Not only will you be able to sunbathe nude; you will be able to dance on our stripper poles, participate in our sexy contests, and enjoy an atmosphere quite different from a traditional “nude cruise”. And don’t forget, we have the largest play areas at sea.

Full Ship Takeover Cruises:

Nudity is allowed on the main pool decks, the sun decks and in our play area. Ladies can also be topless in our nightclub. Clothing or cover-ups are required everywhere else on the ship (casino, bars, restaurants, theater, elevators and any other public areas).

Group Cruises:

Nudity will vary depending on the group charter. Please check the individual cruise page for details. Know that we always do our best to secure an area for nudity, as this is an important part of a Couples Cruise ®. And remember what happens behind clothes doors, in your cabin, is up to you.

No. We encourage people to be sexy but we cannot allow public sex for two reasons:
1. The ship’s crew will be serving drinks, food and cleaning up after everyone. They don’t need to be subjected to public sexual activities.
2. We run a classy cruise and we believe that there is a time and a place for everything. We believe that the place for sexual activities is behind closed doors. So please have fun but if you want to take it one step further: head back to your cabins or go to the designated private play areas on board the ship.

As much or as little as you like. We simply provide a safe, clean and classy place for everyone to meet; from there, it is up to you. If you want to participate in a sexual activity with another consenting couple, then that is up to you. If you want to be part of a group or simply watch, then that is your choice.

Again, of course not. You decide when or if you want to participate, the universal saying in the “swing lifestyle” is “No means No”. If anyone is pushy or doesn’t understand this saying, then contact one of our cruise staff members and they will deal with the other passenger. Anyone that will not follow our rules, can be put off the ship at the next port with no refund.

Absolutely not. This cruise is for experienced couples as well as those that are just curious. We will have several speakers on board teaching informative seminars that will help new couples understand and find their place in this lifestyle.

We are looking for couples that like to dress sexy, that like to go out and flirt, that might be exhibitionists or voyeurs, that may have experience with a threesomes or moresomes or noexperience at all. We are looking for other fun couples, are you one?

How long are you going to let life (and our ship) pass you by? Life is short and we aren’t getting any younger. What’s the worst thing that could happen? You go on a great cruise and find out that this lifestyle isn’t for you. Or, you go on a great cruise and meet new friends, grow as a couple, explore things that you didn’t even know existed, and have the time of your life!

No, absolutely not. There is one thing that we have learned in life, in most cases the only surprise that is welcome is a dozen roses. Before you will even be allowed to get on board the ship, you will both have to sign a form that says that you understand that this is a “swing” theme cruise (and we aren’t talking about swing dancing!). That is certainly not the best time for your partner to figure out what you have booked them on.

Our events and cruises draw a wide variety of ages. While we do believe that you are only as old as you feel, our median age is probably 45-50, but we certainly have a lot of couples in their 30s & 40s as well as those in their 50s, 60s, and beyond.

No, the only thing we require is that you be 21 or older and that you sign our Conduct Policy

Yes, you must have fun and enjoy yourselves! You will also have to read and sign our Conduct Policy.

Yes, of course. Every cruise ship and hotel we produce events at knows exactly what kind of event is going on. We have worked with their legal departments to make sure that our rules and code of conduct matches their own goals and guidelines. Other cruise promoters have been banned from other cruise lines because they weren’t upfront about their customers or they didn’t establish a proper code of conduct for their guests.

We have proved ourselves with our smaller group charters and we have earned the right to charter a full ship.

The price includes your cabin, all meals, some beverages (tea, juices, water, & lemonade), 24 hour room service, nightly entertainment, use of the ship’s gym, and access to all of the public bars, disco, theaters, shows & pools.

That depends on the type of cabin you want. The bigger suites to go very quickly and the Junior Suites soon after that. If you want an inside cabin you have some time before you need to book, but when the cabins are gone, they’re gone. We recommend at least putting down a deposit as soon as possible, so you won’t miss out on this exciting adventure.

Eating at one of the fine dining or specialty restaurants, spa treatments, alcohol, sodas, any port excursions, photographs, a few on board activities, seminars (yoga, spinning, pilates), paid workshops, private sessions and items from the shops.

The port charges, taxes, gratuities, document, administration, and security fees vary for each cruise. Please refer to the each individual cruise for the exact amounts.

We recommend staying overnight in the port city the day before your sailing; you don’t want to miss the boat! Check out our pre cruise hotel for each cruise and meet your fellow passengers early.

Yes! You’ll have the best chance of getting the cabin you want the earlier you book. If it is important for you to be close to the center, on the fantail of the ship, or in one of the bigger suites, then you’ll need to act quickly before your cabin choice is gone.

With most sailings, you must be on board by 3:30 pm, and the ship pulls away from the dock at 4:30 pm. Normally you can begin boarding the ship at 11:30 am.Check the Itinerary & Ports page for each individual cruise for departure time.

You should receive an invoice from your travel reseller in approximately 2- 4 days after making the booking. Times do vary depending on which reseller you booked your Couples Cruise through.

You will receive your reservation ID number approximately 60 days before the cruise. At that time you will be able to order your customized shore excursions–some of which have been developed just for our charters! With the reservation number, you can also complete your online documentation and print out your cruise documents.

We purposefully book all of our cruises outside the height of hurricane season. Sometimes ships have to be re-directed due to a storm, but this is usually done at the last minute, (since storms are unpredictable). These cruise lines and their crews have been sailing for years, so they know how to deal with inclement weather conditions.

On board you will not be able to use cash, a cruise ship card that is also your cabin room key will be issued to you when you board the ship. You will use this card like a credit card. At the end of the cruise, you can settle up in cash or for a quicker departure, simply give them a credit card to charge the balance.

Only those with valid handicaps are permitted to book handicap accessible cabins. If you have such an injury, ailment or handicap, please let us know when you book.

We will be offering unique Couples Cruise shore excursions, some of which will be clothing optional. You will be able to book these in advance through the ship. We will e-mail you the details of these excursions closer to the sailing date.

Today’s ships are huge and have advanced stability controls to lessen the amount of movement; this helps avoid seasickness. There are also some over-the-counter medications that can help make sure your cruise is a stress-free and healthy experience thanks to supplements for stress that you can compare online as Kratom Extract vs Powder. Yes, most definitely. For more information on passports, go to http://www.Travel.State.Gov
